Joefee and Oakee is a children’s story about a boy and a tree—yes, you read that right—a tree! The story follows the boy and the tree as they grow up together, experiencing friendship, laughter, heartbreak, and redemption. The story climaxes with an amazing and dramatic ending that is sure to leave a lasting impression. A boy, a tree, and a ??—what could possibly go wrong?

Though a children’s story, it resonates with those of any age. 

The students in Wildwood High School’s Graphic Art Department provided several illustrations for this work. Their talent is absolutely amazing.
