This story introduces FBI Special Agent Braska Barnett, who pronounces her name like Nebraska without the NE.
With degrees in Statistics, Social Psychology, and Mathematics, she received many job offers from private and government institutions. Still, she chose the FBI because she wanted to use her education and talents to bring justice to those who tried to evade it with power and influence.
However, the Bureau quickly took advantage of her childlike appearance to do work undercover that had nothing to do with spreadsheets.
Now, Special Agent Braska Barnett is faced with a new assignment, one of the bureau’s most perplexing cases: “The Strange Case of Mildred Magillicuddy”.
This enigma spans over eight decades, from 1938 to the present, and is a web of international intrigue and a conspiracy of the highest magnitude. The case only grows more intricate, weaving in events from World War Two, the complex relationship between the Allies, the construction of the Berlin Wall, and the tension of the Cuban Missile Crisis all the way to the present day. If the truth were known, it would rewrite history and destroy the glue holding the free world together.
